Also I too laugh-cried during all of Jenny Lawson’s books, but especially that one!

Allie Brosh's HYPERBOLE AND A HALF and SOLUTIONS AND OTHER PROBLEMS definitely make me cackle and cry. They're laugh-out-loud funny but also have some serious and sad moments.

This is my genre! And my life lol

I love anything that can hold that precarious dichotomy of sadness and laughter (which I think we should shorten to “slaughter” for fun) together because they so often need to go hand in hand to make it through.

I haven’t! I’ve had Sorrow and Bliss on my tbr for awhile but had seen mixed reviews. With your stamp of approval I’ll definitely give it a shot.

Let’s Pretend This Never Happened sounds right up my alley too. I’ve been on a big memoir kick lately.
